Collection MARISCAL MOMA LOW
The MOMA LOW collection designed by Javier Mariscal for VONDOM is a series of objects for the outside. It was decided to make a new type of furniture based on combining the functions of a flowerpot, an outdoor table and an ambience lamp. This is how MOMA came into being, a collection that is characterised for its versatility and originality. MOMA LOW is for chilling out, complete with a really comfortable pouffe in the same collection.

Valencia, Spain (* 1950 ) Javier Mariscal is, First and foremost, an image creator who develops his work using all kinds of supports and disciplines.Furniture design, painting, sculpture, illustrations, interior design, graphic design, landscaping, gardening and so on are all the object of his professional, vital activity. He has recently done the interior design and graphics for the H and M store in Barcelona, the collection for the Uno Design contract, the 11th floor of Hotel Puerta Am?rica Madrid for the Hoteles Silken Group, the graphic image of the 32nd edition of the America?s Cup, the new brand image for Camper for Kids, the Bombay Sapphire Design exhibition on 20th century design objects, the sculptural pergola for R?o Hortega Hospital in Valladolid and the visual identity for the British post-production company, Framestore. Among other projects, he is currently working on a retrospective exhibition at the Design Museum of London which will take place in the spring, on the full-length cartoon `Chico y Rita? with Fernando Trueba, three books about his artistic and design work and some pieces of furnitures for VONDOM, UNO DESIGN and MAGIS. He has collaborated with companies such as Memphis, Akaba, Bidasoa, BD Ediciones de Dise?o, Moroso, Nani Marquina, Vorwerk, Equipaje, Alessi, Sangetsu, Magis, Cosmic, Amat3, Santa and Cole, Lalique and Phaidon. Mariscal expresses himself using a personal language that is complex in its intention and simple in its statements, innocent yet provocative, that he uses to innovate, risk and communicate. He enjoys provoking the eyes that look at his works and creating complicity with them.
