In the history of the modern bed, the year 1978 was a milestone. It was the year that Flou was founded, a company with the precise objective of innovating the bedroom and create a new ‘sleep culture’. 

The company philosophy remained unchanged: to produce excellent beds, designed with the precise objective of improving comfort, wellness and quality of life. Flou collection includes a wide choice of wardrobes, chests of drawers, different upholstered furniture.

Psiche - cylindrical boxes with a mirror hidden in the lid. Two slits allow the mirrored lid to be lifted and positioned at an angle. Available in ash solid wood wengé stained.

Design: Odoardo Fioravanti

Studied Industrial Design at the Design Department of the Milan Polytechnic. Since 2003 he has worked as an industrial designer, also experimenting graphic and exhibition design, with a firm will to melt different design areas into a continuous matter.

His projects received prestigious design awards since he created Odoardo Fioravanti Design Studio. He held lectures in many design schools and academy: Milan Polytechnic, San Marino University, Domus Academy, Istituto Marangoni, NABA, SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design.

His objects have been featured in many International exhibitions. In 2010 the Design Museum of the Triennale di Milano featured the personal exhibition “Industrious Design” about his work.

In 2011 he won the Compasso d’Oro Prize ADI with the Frida wooden chair by Pedrali.

He also works as a freelance journalist for design magazines trying to explore and to change the boundaries of design as a discipline.
