Stile Creazioni

The Creazioni brand by Silik was born in 1997 and is the result of a desire to dress up past styles with a new modern and carefree look. Thanks to a strong inclination towards the innovation of its products, Creazioni, created by Cristina Gattei, CEO of Silik, has captured the attention of international markets in just a short time.

Even in its name “Creazioni” (“creations” in English), the brand expresses its goal of revitalizing the styles of the past by representing them in a new light, which enhances the level of elegance, while at the same time retaining its authority. This is the stylistic feature of a brand which stems from the desire to follow a new path and propose a sort of "new way to dress up" with lively colors, unusual materials, and interesting finishes.

Creazioni began its journey by taking five models made in the production headquarters of Silik, the new brand’s parent-company. It reworked these pieces, giving them a relaxed appearance, uninhibited finishes, and above all, unique coverings. The Alice armchair, the Fiammetta chair, the Bella daybed, the Paolina bench, and the Merlina armchair, gave life to the first simple catalog. In 2000, the first collection was presented within the pages of a very impressive catalog which expressed the spirit and revealed the potential of the new brand.

Each year, catalogs are made which are more and more complete, offering not just the furniture of the past revisited, but also items of contemporary design. All the furniture has one common denominator: a spirit that is evident in the details and harmony and a willingness to play. The new lines of furniture are indeed creations of interior design, dramatic and visual emotions that are in line with the variety of tastes and cultures that characterize contemporary life. The unusual shapes, the contrasts of bright colors, and the bold combinations of materials are always governed by the highest craftsmanship to create a kaleidoscope of styles and atmospheres that reinvent the space with creativity and irony.

Creazioni has won many awards over the years. In 1998, it won first prize at AMI in Lucerna (a Swiss-Italian recognition for Italian design) for the Fiammetta chair. In 2005, the ICD Italian Classic Design named the Berto bureau among the 100 best Italian classic furniture products. Selected by an international committee, Berto spent all of 2006 as part of an exhibition tour with stops in Moscow, Paris, New York, Chicago, Shanghai, and Dubai. The Il Capo table, made in collaboration with Gum Design, was even selected for the ‘Giovani Designer’ award at the 2009 Salone del Mobile.

Creazioni is bringing Italian fashion and flair into the bedroom with these stylish upholstered headboards. Transforming traditional beds into true showpieces, the details are a dream! The Biscotto double bed boasts a rectangular headboard with diamond-pattern buttoning detail set atop its shimmering fabric. The Samuele headboard has a more stylized silhouette. Pictured in the single bed design, it may be small but the style is certainly big!
